Woman undergoing Ozone Therapy

Hyperbaric Ozone Therapy with the Medozon comfort device is a procedure that uses vacuum to withdraw blood and positive pressure to re-inject blood and is the one used in the 10 pass procedure.

For unsurpassed efficacy with MAHT treatments and busy practices where treatment time is a factor, this is unquestionably the most suitable Medical Ozone Generator on the market and the touch screen interface and inbuilt vacuum pump and catalyzer make it a pleasure to operate, for any treatment modality.

Autohemotherapy Ozone Therapy devoce

Major Autohemotherapy involves removing a sample of the patient’s blood and mixing it in a medozon I-set with ozone.  Then, it is reinfused over a period of time of up to 30 minutes.

Minor Autohemotherapy: Involves removing a much smaller amount of the patient’s blood into a syringe that has been preloaded with a small amount of ozone (1-3 cc of each). The blood and ozone are mixed in the syringe and then it is reinjected into the patient. Conditions such as genital herpes, oral herpes and the common cold can be treated in 3-5 treatments over about 5-7 days.

injection above the knee for ozone therapy

Prolozone® is a homeopathic/oxygen injection technique developed and pioneered by Dr. Shallenberger. It is excellent for all forms of musculo-skeletal and joint pain including chronic neck and back pain, rotator cuff injuries, degenerative and arthritic hips and knees, degenerated discs, and shoulder and elbow pain. The good thing about Prolozone is that because it actually corrects the pathology of the disorder, there is a 75% chance for the chronic pain sufferer to becoming permanently pain free.

In methods of skin rejuvenation, treatment with Ozonetherapy particular attention is paid to improvement of microcirculation, oxygenation, energy supply of cells, and protection of the dermis. Many cosmetic problems – acne, teleangiectatic rosacea, wrinkles, allergy, cellulite etc – are reflecting the internal state of the skin, therefore they should be treated not only from the outside, but also inside.

Insufflation Tube for Ozone Therapy

Insufflation is a way to administer ozone systemically in a manner that is completely painless and minimally invasive. Previously for many decades, physicians in Europe have used a more invasive technique called Major Autohemotherapy whereby a half a pint of the patient’s own blood is removed and mixed with ozone and re-injected intravenously back to the patient. Rectal Insufflation is “95% as effective as Major Autohemotherapy” (Renate Viebahn). This method is used by many physicians in their clinics and by those at home as well

Aeration bag for Ozone Therapy

Bagging” with ozone refers to the method of isolating a body part by surrounding it with a bag (such as hand, arm, leg, foot, torso, pelvis, but NEVER head), and introducing ozone. This can be used to treat gangrene, diabetic foot ulcers, bed sores, burns, any wounds that are infected or slow healing, or those that refuse to heal. This method is not intended to generate an immune modulating effect on the individual as in the methods above.

Water bubbles for Ozone Therapy

Water is exposed to Ozone. The ozonated water is stored in a bottle to keep refrigerated, for maximum 3 days.

Ozonated water should be drunk on an empty stomach for optimal results. It can be also used to treat Chronic Sinusitis, as “nasal drops” or mouth wash/gargle for any mouth infection.

The primary criterion for selecting a patient for Prolozone is pain. If it hurts, Prolozone should be tried. I have had cases in which the chief complaint was instability, and the patient had no complaints of pain.
